Having worked many years for large manufacturers, the author has seen first hand the decimation of many North American manufacturing entities. In his first novel, Mike Delaplume, a Canadian writer from Montreal, creates a story revolving around a fictional word processing provider trying to eke out a living in the early 1990s. Mike sees writing as the highest form of manufacturing and sincerely hopes that the reading public will view his writing in this context.
